Sunday May 5th 2013

Beaming sunshine all day bringing out the glorious bright yellows in every buttercup, dandelion and daffodil. A carpet of gold has spread across the corner field where the young cattle will graze their way through the goodness over the coming week.
The barren field opposite contrasts in brown ploughed dirt awaiting fresh seeds to fill the space with as yet unknown crops.
Birds large and small have twittered, tweeted, tapped and tugged from dawn gathering nest building materials and feeding for the important time ahead of them. Swallows have been weaving their way across the skies in acrobatic form leaving just a glimpse of the famous forked tail. And the little Robin quietly hops around the garden inconspicuously, barely being noticed out of his Winter obligations.
